- To ensure that the aims and beliefs of PWP are followed
- To liaise with other committee members regarding their duties
Duties
- To chair the Branch Meeting each month as arranged with the Vice President
- To be a co-signatory for the Branch's bank account
- To prepare a President's Report for the Branch Meeting-this report to be sent out by the secretary to committee members with the monthly minutes
- To prepare a monthly report for the monthly SMC meeting
- To attend half PM Nights and give the PM talk
- To prepare a message for Central Branch members to appear in the monthly Stepping Stone publication. This needs to be at Head Office by the 1st of the month
- To attend monthly SMC meetings if the president is also the Branch's SMC Rep
- To hold a $50 float for running expenses-all major expenses to be approved by the committee and all receipts to be handed to the treasurer at the month end
- To maintain attendance file
- To maintain a detailed list of phone calls being claimed for. This list to state date, person called and reason for call
- To be one of the telephone contacts for the Branch
- To be telephone contact for newspaper advertising and Stepping Stone publications
