Role of the Properties Officer

Overview

This committee position requires the general overseeing and storage of Central Branches properties.

Duties

  • Storage of supplies-cups, glasses, party/dance items
  • Replenishment of supplies-buying tea, coffee and sugar as required and supplying glasses, cups etc from stores as required
  • Co-ordinate the circulation of the property boxes to the next person holding a function. If any difficulties arise, the properties officer may be involved in arranging transport of the items. Likewise, the blue flags are circulated amongst members to the contact person for outdoor venues.
  • Reporting to the committee any matter of import relating to properties, i.e. maintenance or replacement etc. and suggestions for new items
  • Attend branch meetings
  • Regularly update and maintain Notice Board
